FBI adds Goldy Brar to most-wanted list, offers $1 million

The FBI added Satinderjeet Singh, known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and is offering up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest, the agency announced September 28. Brar, whom U.S. authorities describe as a North American leader of the Lawrence Bishnoi organized-crime group, is wanted on federal charges. The allegations against him have not been established in court. The FBI said Brar is the 543rd person placed on the list. Patrick Grandy, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, said the bureau and its partners had made Brar’s arrest a priority. The agency described him as armed and dangerous and urged the public not to approach him. It said he has links to California and parts of Canada. The FBI alleges that Brar was involved in the Bishnoi organization, which prosecutors say has engaged in violence, extortion and the trafficking of drugs and weapons across multiple countries. The bureau describes him as a leader in North America. Federal prosecutors have charged him in connection with alleged racketeering, extortion and drug-distribution conspiracies. Those charges remain allegations unless proven in court.
