Dolly Parton's Unreleased Song Sealed in Time Capsule Until 2046

Dolly Parton, the country music icon who died on August 25, 2026, at age 80, left behind a final musical surprise that will remain unheard for another two decades. An unreleased song titled "My Place in History" is sealed inside a time capsule at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with instructions that it not be opened until January 19, 2046, what would have been Parton's 100th birthday. Parton recorded the track in 2015, the same year the DreamMore Resort opened. The song was placed in a wooden "Dream Box" along with a CD player and other items to ensure it could be played in the future.
