Cyberpunk 2077 Coming to Battle.net in 2026

Published 14 September 2026

CD Projekt Red announced at BlizzCon 2026 that its hit title Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net platform before the end of 2026. The announcement, made during a "30 Years of Battle.net" panel on September 13, marks the first time the open-world RPG will be available on Blizzard's digital storefront. During the panel, CD Projekt Red representatives confirmed that players will be able to purchase the base game, the Phantom Liberty expansion, or the combined Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition separately on Battle.net. The release will follow the launch of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Remastered on the same platform, which is scheduled for September 29, 2026. The partnership between the two companies also includes crossover content for Blizzard games. Overwatch will receive collaborations based on the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series and its upcoming second season in 2027. Additionally, a Geralt of Rivia-themed Barbarian skin for Diablo IV will be available to players who pre-purchase or purchase the upcoming Witcher 3 expansion "Songs of the Past" on Battle.net. Blizzard's Andrew Guerrero stated that the company has no plans to make Battle.
