Carla Jeffery, an actress best known for her role as the cheerful Bree in Disney Channel's "Zombies" franchise and for a recurring part on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," has died. She was 33. Her death was announced on September 2, 2026, by her longtime representatives at Alexanders Talent Management, who stated she died on Tuesday, September 1. No cause of death was disclosed. The talent agency shared the news on Instagram, expressing profound sorrow. "Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery," the statement read. "For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege." The agency remembered her "infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went," and asked for privacy for her family. Tributes from former colleagues highlighted the personal impact of her loss. Milo Manheim, who starred alongside her as Zed in the "Zombies" films, called her "the sweetest, kindest, most loving person.
