Bezzecchi sets record, tops Aragon practice
Marco Bezzecchi set a new lap record to top practice for the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix on Friday, edging out Alex Marquez by just 0.010 seconds in a dramatic final-minute showdown. The Aprilia rider's time of 1 minute 45.455 seconds broke the previous circuit record by 0.38 seconds and secured his direct passage to the second qualifying session, Q2. The session saw a late flurry of fast laps that reshaped the order. Reigning world champion Marc Marquez had looked poised to continue his dominance at the Spanish circuit, having earlier set a new benchmark of 1:45.493. However, Bezzecchi's effort in the final two minutes snatched the top spot away.
