BCCI Finalizes Rs 130 Crore Associate Deals
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finalized new associate partnership deals worth over Rs 130 crore, securing Campa Cola, artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT, and life insurer SBI Life as official associate partners for Team India's home matches. The agreement, spanning two seasons and running through March 2028, covers 35 matches and represents a significant 44 percent increase in value compared to the previous cycle. Campa Cola emerged as the highest bidder, reportedly offering Rs 1.31 crore per match, while ChatGPT and SBI Life each submitted bids of Rs 1.2 crore per match. These bids secured them the associate partner rights for the upcoming home fixtures. The previous associate partnership contract expired in August 2026, and the BCCI had invited companies to bid for new sponsorship rights in July. The bidding process saw other companies like Bisleri and Indian Oil Corporation also participate, matching the Rs 1.2 crore per match figure but ultimately not securing the final slots.
