Asa Germann in Final Talks to Play Angel in X-Men Reboot
Asa Germann, the actor best known for playing Sam Riordan in the superhero series Gen V and for a supporting role in Scream 7, is in final talks to play Angel, also known as Warren Worthington III, in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot, according to an exclusive report first published on Thursday. Some outlets, citing sources, described the casting as set, but Marvel Studios declined to comment, and the reported status of final talks means a deal has not been officially confirmed. According to the initial report, Germann had been among the actors auditioning for the role of Cyclops, which ultimately went to Kit Connor. The studio, led by Kevin Feige, was reportedly impressed enough with Germann's audition to offer him the part of Angel instead. Germann is repped by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Jackoway Austen. Angel is one of the five founding members of the X-Men in Marvel Comics, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and introduced in the first issue of the X-Men comic.
