Angela Scanlon named new Radio 2 Drivetime host

Angela Scanlon has been named the new host of BBC Radio 2’s weekday Drivetime programme, taking over the 4pm-to-7pm slot from November after Sara Cox moved to present Breakfast. The appointment fills the afternoon vacancy left when Cox moved to the morning programme. Scanlon is expected to host the show each weekday.
