Amazon MGM Orders Penn Badgley Murder Mystery Series for Prime Video

Amazon MGM Studios has ordered a new dark comedy murder mystery series for Prime Video titled "Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone," with actor Penn Badgley attached to star. The project, based on the bestselling novel by Benjamin Stevenson, was announced on August 27, 2026. Badgley will portray Ern Cunningham, a mystery-writing expert who reluctantly travels to a family reunion in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom to welcome his brother Michael home from prison. The reunion takes a deadly turn when a frozen body is discovered and a snowstorm traps the family inside, revealing that every member has previously killed someone, either by accident or otherwise.
