Aliens Fireteam Elite 2, the sequel to the 2021 cooperative shooter, has launched globally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version confirmed for September 29, 2026. Developed by Cold Iron Studios in collaboration with Daybreak Game Company and 20th Century Games, the game expands on its predecessor with four-player squads, deeper customization, and a larger arsenal for battling Xenomorph swarms. The core gameplay loop remains focused on squad-based survival, with players taking on the roles of Colonial Marines responding to a distress signal.
