AI leaders to brief UN Security Council on security risks

OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman, Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei and other artificial intelligence leaders are scheduled to brief the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday about the technology’s risks to international security, including the possibility that advanced systems could act beyond human control.
