Acer Predator Atlas 7: Compact Gaming Handheld

Acer has unveiled the Predator Atlas 7, a new Windows-based gaming handheld designed to offer flagship performance in a more compact form factor. The device, announced around early September 2026, features a 7-inch display and is positioned as a more portable alternative to the company's larger Predator Atlas 8 model. The Predator Atlas 7 is powered by Intel Arc G3 processors, with options for the standard G3 or the more powerful G3 Extreme, paired with Intel Arc B370 or B390 graphics respectively. This hardware configuration allows the handheld to run new titles at smooth frame rates. Users can configure the device with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 7467 MTs and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. The 7-inch display offers a 1920x1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology for smoother visuals. It can reach 500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a special treatment to reduce glare and improve scratch resistance. Acer has incorporated an 80Wh battery, with a lighter 60Wh option also available, aiming to provide extended gaming sessions.
