Accenture beats estimates and sets fiscal 2027 outlook

Accenture reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $18.68 billion, up 6% from a year earlier, and diluted earnings of $3.29 per share, topping analyst estimates. The consulting company also reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $74.18 billion and forecast 3% to 6% revenue growth in local currency for fiscal 2027. Its shares climbed after the results, with reported gains varying by the time of trading observation. For the quarter ended August 31, net income was $1.99 billion, compared with $1.41 billion a year earlier. Analysts had expected earnings of about $3.18 to $3.19 per share and revenue of roughly $18.02 billion to $18.03 billion, according to estimates cited in the reports. Accenture said quarterly revenue exceeded its prior guidance range of $17.75 billion to $18.40 billion. For the full fiscal year, revenue rose 6% in U.S. dollars and 5% in local currency. Accenture reported GAAP diluted earnings per share of $13.56, up 12%, and adjusted earnings per share of $13.97, up 8%. Those are separate measures. Free cash flow totaled $11.62 billion for the year, including $2.8 billion in the fourth quarter.
