Micron reports $54.23 billion in Q4 revenue

Published 1 October 2026

Micron reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $54.23 billion and net income of $37.7 billion, sharply exceeding analyst expectations, and projected an even larger revenue figure for the first quarter of fiscal 2027. Its shares fell after the results, with trading volatile in after-hours dealings. Revenue for the quarter, which ended in August, was up from $11.32 billion a year earlier. The reported net income was about 12 times the $3.2 billion Micron earned in the same period last year. Before the release, analyst revenue estimates ranged from $50.45 billion to $51.5 billion, below the reported total. Micron projected fiscal first-quarter revenue of $61.5 billion and diluted earnings per share of $37.84. The company’s outlook was above analysts’ pre-report expectations, though the available reports do not provide a directly comparable consensus estimate for that quarter. The guidance is a company projection, not a reported result. The company also reported a gross margin of 86.8% for the fourth quarter, compared with its stated projection of 86.0% and 84.6% in the preceding quarter.
