YouTube and Goldenvoice Extend Coachella Deal Through 2030

Published 23 September 2026

YouTube and Coachella promoter Goldenvoice have renewed their exclusive livestream partnership through 2030, extending a relationship that began in 2012. The companies announced the agreement on September 23 at YouTube’s Made on YouTube event in New York. The 2027 festival is expected to mark 15 years of Coachella streaming on the platform. The renewed agreement continues YouTube’s exclusive livestream coverage of the festival. One report specifies that the arrangement covers both weekends and describes YouTube as the exclusive global livestream destination; the detailed terms of the contract were not disclosed. YouTube said the 2026 Coachella livestream set a record for the most viewers watching at one time in the platform’s history. The company did not provide a numerical audience total or explain how the peak was measured, so the claim is not independently assessable from the information released. The record refers to concurrent viewers, not total viewers. The livestream has expanded from a single feed to coverage of festival stages and interactive features.
