XRP's network activity surged dramatically over the past two weeks, with daily active addresses jumping more than 650% as the cryptocurrency's price rallied sharply before pulling back. The increase in on-chain participation adds a fundamental dimension to a market move that has been driven by macroeconomic news and institutional inflows. Between August 10 and August 24, the number of daily active addresses on the XRP Ledger climbed from 47,180 to 356,070, an increase of 654.71%, according to data from crypto analyst Ali Martinez. This spike of over 308,000 addresses signals a broad expansion in blockchain engagement.
