Santiment reported that the number of XRP addresses holding at least 1 million tokens reached 2,147, the highest level recorded in 2026, even as the cryptocurrency had recently weakened. The count was 28 higher than 10 days earlier, including 18 additional qualifying addresses in the final three days of that period. The figures, which Santiment shared on November 3, track addresses with balances above a threshold, not confirmed purchases or individual investors. An existing holder can move tokens between addresses, and exchange or pooled custody accounts can affect the tally. The measure also does not show how much XRP was bought or sold. Santiment said the increase during price weakness suggested large balances were being built, but tied a stronger interpretation to price recovery. It said XRP holding around $1.20 to $1.25 while the count remained above 2,140 would keep the longer-term setup constructive.
