XRP Activity Rises Across Futures, ETFs and Exchange Balances
XRP-related activity showed several distinct signs of investor and trader engagement in September and early October, including high futures turnover, continued exchange-traded fund inflows and declining balances on two exchanges. The indicators measure different kinds of activity and do not establish that new capital entered the market or predict XRP’s price direction. A CryptoQuant contributor, Arab Chain, estimated that September XRP futures volume across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled about $56.18 billion. Binance accounted for approximately $32.36 billion, followed by Bybit at $12.5 billion and OKX at $11.32 billion. The combined figure represents the value of contracts traded, not the amount invested: the same funds can be used in multiple transactions. Futures activity also does not reveal whether traders expect prices to rise or fall. Exchange balances moved lower over periods reported by analyst Amr Taha, citing CryptoQuant data. Binance’s XRP balance declined from 2.704 billion to 2.631 billion between September 26 and October 4. Upbit’s balance fell by 31.6 million XRP between September 11 and October 5.
