Xbox Game Pass Adds CoD, Loses Cyberpunk in Sept

Xbox Game Pass is adding a slate of new titles throughout September 2026, headlined by the arrival of the popular first-person shooter Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Subscribers will also see the addition of several other games, including the racing sequel Speedrunners 2 King of Speed and the roguelike deckbuilder Dice a Million, alongside the medieval warfare strategy game The Royal Writ and the fighting game Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage. The first wave of games began rolling out on September 1 with the availability of Shelldiver, a game where players control a turtle venturing into ocean biomes. Speedrunners 2 King of Speed, a frantic eight-player online platform racing game, became available on September 3. Dice a Million, a roguelike deckbuilding strategy game centered on rolling dice, joined the service on September 4. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, developed by Raven Software, is set to arrive on September 8, bringing its globetrotting campaign through early 1980s locations. The Royal Writ, a medieval warfare and roguelike deckbuilder, will be added on September 10, followed by Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.
