Xbox Disc-to-Digital Feature Works With Delisted Games

Xbox players testing Microsoft's new disc-to-digital feature have discovered that it works with several games that have been delisted from digital stores for years. The feature, which began rolling out to Xbox Insiders on August 31, allows users to convert supported Xbox One and Xbox Series X discs into digital licenses, enabling play without the disc in the console and on disc-free hardware like the Xbox Series S. The discovery emerged as early testers, including Xbox player Nicholas Maguire, demonstrated that a game being delisted does not automatically prevent its disc from receiving a digital license.
