Wrestler Pac Dies After Being Found Unresponsive in Illinois

Professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known in the ring as Pac, was found unresponsive in a vehicle outside a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, on Sunday and was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. He was 40. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending additional testing. Dispatch audio described responders being sent to a person in a car whose breathing they could not confirm. Later audio appeared to indicate that Satterley was dead on arrival. The accounts do not establish what happened before emergency personnel reached the vehicle. A witness said restaurant customers saw Satterley unresponsive and called 911. The witness also said some customers searched for medical equipment to help him before emergency personnel arrived. Police and fire personnel responded along with an ambulance, the witness said. Police said there were no indications of foul play and that the circumstances were not considered suspicious. The cause of death is for the medical examiner to determine.
