Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Launches March 2027, Alpha Demo Available Now

Team Ninja has announced that its upcoming action role-playing game, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, will launch on March 4, 2027. The sequel to the 2023 title Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. It will also be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass. Alongside the release date, developer Team Ninja and publisher Koei Tecmo have launched a limited-time alpha demo. The demo is available now and will remain accessible until September 30, 2026. It is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but is not available on Nintendo Switch 2 or via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The alpha demo provides an early look at the game, featuring a portion of the Changban stage. Players can test the in-progress character creation system and engage in online cooperative play for up to three players. Those who complete the demo will receive the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet as a bonus item in the full game. The demo showcases several new gameplay mechanics designed to expand on the original's combat.
