UN Report Says 1.5°C Warming Limit Will Be Breached Within Years

The world is set to breach the 1.5 degrees Celsius global warming threshold within the next few years, making the Paris Agreement's central goal of limiting temperature rise effectively unattainable, according to a major United Nations report released on September 2, 2026.
