Ubisoft Announces Turn-Based Rainbow Six Tactics Spin-Off

Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Tactics, a new turn-based tactical strategy game set in the Rainbow Six universe. Revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026, the title marks a significant genre shift for the franchise, offering a singleplayer-focused experience distinct from the long-running multiplayer game Rainbow Six Siege. The game places players in the role of Six, the commander of the Rainbow unit, tasking them with leading squads of up to four elite operators. A roster of 15 operators drawn directly from Rainbow Six Siege will be available, each bringing specialized abilities, gadgets, and skill trees to the tactical planning table.
