TFG London investigates incident affecting three fashion brands

Published 13 October 2026

TFG London said it identified a cybersecurity incident on Sunday, October 11, affecting some information technology systems used by its Phase Eight, Hobbs and Whistles brands. The UK business of South African retailer The Foschini Group said its investigation was continuing and had not established whether customer or other sensitive information was accessed. The company said its stores remained open, while some systems and website functions were unavailable. Orders placed on or after October 11 could be delayed. TFG London advised customers not to submit duplicate orders and said customers did not need to change their account login information at this time. TFG London said it activated business continuity and incident-response plans, engaged external cybersecurity specialists and notified relevant UK authorities. The company has not disclosed what type of incident occurred, how access was gained or who was responsible. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider, TFG London said. Based on its investigation so far, the company said it had no reason to believe payment information was at risk.
