Taylor Frankie Paul has confirmed she accepted a proposal while filming her unaired season of The Bachelorette, a revelation that adds a new layer to the ABC series that was pulled from its schedule earlier this year. Paul disclosed the engagement during a preview for the upcoming fifth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which was released on September 3. In the clip, she told her costars that she said yes to a suitor during filming. "Yes. Yes, I did get engaged," Paul said in the preview. The revelation comes months after ABC abruptly removed her Bachelorette season from its February lineup, just three days before its planned premiere. The network's decision coincided with a domestic violence investigation involving Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in Utah. The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office later decided not to file criminal charges in the case. In the podcast preview, Paul described what happened after she returned home from filming.
