A new study reveals that human-induced climate change is already exposing hundreds of millions of the world's youngest children to dangerous levels of heat, a burden that will intensify as global temperatures rise. Research published in the journal Science Advances finds that up to 560 million children aged 0 to 9 years old are living through at least one additional month of heat stress per year due to climate change, a figure that outpaces any other age group.
