HYBE x Geffen says Sophia Laforteza will resume activities with KATSEYE in the first week of January 2027, after missing the group’s remaining 2026 tour and promotional schedule. In a notice published October 8, HYBE x Geffen said Sophia would not take part in the North American leg of THE WILDWORLD TOUR or promotional activities for the rest of 2026. The company said she had been prioritising her health and wellbeing with its support and resources, and said it looked forward to welcoming her back in 2027. Sophia’s hiatus began in August. In a statement shared with fans, she said she had been receiving care and working to support her wellbeing. She also said she regretted missing the remainder of the tour and hoped to return ready to perform with the group.
