Sony has officially launched the FX5, a new full-frame cinema camera positioned between its popular FX3 and higher-end FX6 models. The camera was unveiled on July 22, 2026, and is scheduled to begin shipping globally in mid-August. Priced at $4,899.99 for the body only, or $5,499.
