Sony Announces Two Limited-Edition GTA 6 DualSense Controllers

Sony has announced two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers for PlayStation 5, themed around the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 6. The controllers, one black and one white, were revealed during a State of Play broadcast on September 3, 2026. They are scheduled to launch alongside the game on November 19, 2026, with preorders opening on September 10, 2026. The controllers are designed to capture the aesthetic of the game's Vice City setting. According to Sony's PlayStation Blog, both editions feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish meant to evoke a Vice City sunset and neon lights. The white edition is described as embodying the city at daybreak, while the black version represents its nightlife. Both pads include custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller's surface, the GTA 6 logo on the touchpad, and the series' Roman numeral "VI" branding. The controllers will be priced at $84.99, which is approximately $10 more than a standard DualSense controller. This price aligns with other special edition PlayStation controllers, such as those for Marvel's Wolverine. Preorders will begin on September 10 at 10 a.m.
