Sony Adds Free Live TV to PlayStation 5

Sony Interactive Entertainment launched a free, ad-supported live television service directly within the PlayStation 5 console's media menu for users in the United States on August 31, 2026. The new offering, called Live TV on PS5, provides access to more than 100 linear channels without requiring a PlayStation Plus subscription or additional streaming app downloads.
