Son of TV Personalities Charged as Adult in Sexual Assault Case

The 15-year-old son of former reality television personalities Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann has been arrested and charged as an adult in Georgia following allegations of a sexual assault on a high school classmate at a fitness center. Kroy Jagger "KJ" Biermann Jr. was taken into custody on August 17, 2026, and faces charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. He remains in custody at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Fulton County. According to authorities, the incident occurred on April 23, 2026. The victim, described as a teenage classmate, reported to police that the assault took place inside a coed sauna at a Lifetime Fitness gym. A police officer was dispatched to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell the following day, April 24, to investigate the reported sexual assault. Under Georgia law, juveniles aged 13 to 17 charged with certain violent felonies, including the charges filed against Biermann Jr., fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the adult Superior Court system rather than the juvenile system.
