Salman Khan to open final Koffee With Karan season

Salman Khan will be the first guest on the ninth and final season of Koffee With Karan, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the show’s makers have announced. The season is scheduled to begin streaming on JioHotstar on October 14, 2026. A newly released teaser shows Johar and Khan on the show’s familiar couch exchanging lines about the season being able to go anywhere. The preview offers a brief glimpse of their conversation, but details of the premiere episode have not been announced. The guest announcement makes Khan the opening guest for the show’s final season. The makers have not confirmed who else will appear, and names circulating in reports about the lineup remain unconfirmed. Johar announced in late September that the upcoming season would be his last. In a video reflecting on the programme’s history, he recalled conceiving the idea in 2004 and filming its first episode on August 16 that year. He described the show as a significant part of his life and said he had decided it was time to bring it to a close. The series has featured celebrity conversations across eight earlier seasons.
