Russian Missile and Drone Attacks Kill 12 in Ukraine

At least 12 people, including an Indian citizen, were killed in a wave of Russian missile and drone attacks across Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday. The strikes targeted Kyiv and several other regions, damaging civilian infrastructure and residential areas as the Ukrainian capital endured a sixth consecutive day of aerial assaults. The attacks unfolded late Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday, with residents in Kyiv reporting numerous explosions and flashes in the sky. Ukrainian authorities reported that eight people were killed in Kyiv itself, with five others injured, including children.
