Ram Temple Trust to Name First CEO on September 2

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is expected to announce its first-ever Chief Executive Officer on Wednesday, September 2, following the submission of a shortlist of three candidates by a selection committee. The appointment marks a significant step in the administrative evolution of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The three-member search committee, headed by retired Justice Pramod Kohli, submitted its final panel of names to the Trust on Tuesday, September 1. The report was handed over to Trust treasurer Mahant Govind Dev Giri. "We can say with complete confidence that this selection process was entirely transparent and fair," Justice Kohli stated, adding that the committee selected individuals who are "devoted and willing to work, possess a clear vision, and understand the issues at hand." The selection process was extensive. According to details provided by the committee, 5,585 applications were received for the position. After an initial screening using a 600-point evaluation form, 3,577 candidates were assessed. Of those, 108 who scored 470 marks or higher advanced to video conference interviews.
