PlayStation Plus Adds Day-One RuneScape Game in September Update

PlayStation Plus has expanded its Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers with a new day-one title and several other games, marking the second wave of additions for September 2026. The rollout, which began on September 15, includes the survival RPG RuneScape Dragonwilds, which launched simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and PC. Developed by Jagex, RuneScape Dragonwilds is set on the continent of Ashenfall and combines survival, crafting, exploration, and skill progression from the RuneScape universe. The game's full 1.0 release marks its debut on consoles after an early access period on PC. It is available to Extra and Premium subscribers on PS5. Alongside Dragonwilds, the September 15 batch includes WWE 2K26, the latest entry in the wrestling series featuring over 400 playable WWE Superstars and Legends. Also added were Mega Man X Command Mission, a 2004 turn-based RPG, and Metro Redux, a package containing remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. These two classic titles are available to Premium subscribers. The September lineup is being delivered in staggered waves.
