Pearl Abyss Details Crimson Desert Expansion Features

Pearl Abyss has detailed the features planned for Charting the Unknown, a paid expansion for Crimson Desert scheduled to launch October 29, 2026. A new overview describes ocean exploration, shipbuilding, underwater activities, expanded relationships and housing, business management and a repeatable boss challenge. The expansion adds the Great Ocean of Pywel as an explorable area, with islands, new story content and hostile forces. Players will be able to gather resources, build and customize ships, and establish strongholds with Greymane allies. The overview also shows naval combat against enemy vessels. Underwater, players can dive to explore sunken ruins and collect resources and treasure. The expansion introduces new underwater traversal methods, including diving suits. One report also describes converting the A.T.A.G. into a submersible, while other coverage focuses more generally on underwater exploration.
