Panorama Produce Recalls Mangoes Sold at Walmart in 4 States Over Salmonella Risk

Panorama Produce has voluntarily recalled 302 boxes of mangoes sold at select Walmart stores in four Northeastern states after federal sampling detected Salmonella in fruit grown on the same farm. The recall, announced in late August 2026, is a precautionary measure, and no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled product. The affected mangoes, branded as Martina, were distributed to Walmart stores in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania between August 10 and August 21, 2026. The recall was initiated after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration identified Salmonella in a separate batch of mangoes from the same farm. That contaminated batch was never sold in the United States. However, because the recalled mangoes share the same source, Panorama Produce pulled them as a precaution. Consumers are advised not to eat the recalled mangoes. Instead, they should dispose of the fruit or return it to the place of purchase. The mangoes can be identified by a light blue sticker reading "Agrofepac, Produce of Mexico," with PLU number 4584 and UPC number 07503061948050. The fruit is packaged in size 9 cases, meaning nine mangoes per box.
