P-Valley to End With Season 3 on Starz

Published 10 September 2026

Starz announced on Thursday that P-Valley will return for its third season on December 4, 2026, and that the nine-episode season will be the show's last. The premiere will open with two back-to-back episodes, one of them directed by series creator and showrunner Katori Hall, with subsequent episodes arriving weekly on Fridays across the Starz app and the network's streaming and on-demand platforms. The announcement ends a wait of more than four years since the Season 2 finale aired in August 2022. The long gap between seasons was driven largely by production delays. Starz renewed the show in October 2022, two months after the second season concluded, but the 2023 writers and actors strikes put production on hold, and filming did not begin until 2024. Season 3 consists of nine episodes, one fewer than the ten-episode second season. Hall, a Pulitzer Prize winner who based the series on her play Pussy Valley, framed the ending as her own decision in a letter to fans released alongside the announcement. She wrote that every stripper eventually has to hang up her heels and that, seventeen years into the dance, that moment had arrived.
