One Piece Announces Two New Films for 2027 and 2029

The One Piece franchise is expanding its cinematic universe with two new animated feature films, announced during the One Piece Day 26 event on August 23, 2026, at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan. The first film, One Piece Film God Valley, is scheduled for release in Japanese theaters in summer 2027, while the second, One Piece Film Baad, is slated for 2029. The announcement, made by Toei Animation, was accompanied by a teaser trailer revealing the titles and release windows. One Piece Film God Valley will adapt the God Valley Incident, a pivotal and mysterious event from the manga's history.
