Nintendo Announces Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake for Switch 2

Nintendo has announced a full remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for its upcoming Switch 2 console, scheduled for release on November 5, 2026. The announcement, part of the franchise's 40th anniversary celebrations, confirms the game will feature completely rebuilt visuals, full voice acting for cutscenes, expanded character dialogue, an orchestral score, and revised camera and movement controls. The remake aims to preserve the structure of the 1998 adventure while modernizing its presentation for current hardware. According to Nintendo, the new visuals are designed to clarify paths, enemy attacks, and character expressions.
