The film, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, brought back the franchise's core ensemble cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu, for its big-screen debut. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 24.75 crore to Rs 25.15 crore net in India on its opening day. This performance places it among the top four highest-opening Hindi films of 2026. The collection was driven overwhelmingly by the Hindi version, which played across approximately 10,961 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of around 43 percent. The Telugu dubbed version had a limited start, earning approximately Rs 15 lakh from 174 shows. The film's opening day saw a notable increase in audience turnout as the day progressed. Occupancy figures showed a jump from 25.85 percent in morning shows to 62.38 percent for night screenings, suggesting positive word-of-mouth and strong support from the series' existing fan base.
