McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meal Promotion Reportedly Planned

McDonald’s is reportedly planning a Pokémon Trading Card Game promotion in U.S. Happy Meals from November 5 through December 9, 2026, with a 15-card set. The schedule and contents have not been officially announced by McDonald’s or The Pokémon Company and remain based on a single leak. According to the leaked details, each Happy Meal would include a four-card pack containing one holofoil card and three non-holo cards. Six of the 15 cards are described as confetti holofoils. The card designs and featured Pokémon have not been revealed, and it is not known whether the set would use new artwork or reprints. The leak also describes a choice between a Pokémon toy and an “Essential Handbook.” A possible card display as the toy has been suggested, but that detail is unconfirmed. No official product images or card list have been reported. The reported promotion would coincide with Pokémon’s 30th anniversary in 2026.
