Major financial and technology firms launched new infrastructure on June 10 designed to enable autonomous AI agents to conduct payments and commerce. Mastercard introduced a global platform called Agent Pay for Machines (AP4M), while Ripple released a developer toolkit for building such systems on the XRP Ledger.
