Man accused of terrorizing Philadelphia in Chucky mask arrested in Las Vegas
A 22-year-old man accused of terrorizing Philadelphia residents while wearing a Chucky-style Halloween mask was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, ending a two-week manhunt. Zymire Hughes was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service at an apartment complex in southeast Las Vegas around 8 p.m. local time. Hughes faces charges including terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault, and intimidation in connection with a series of menacing encounters in Philadelphia earlier this month. Authorities allege that on August 12, Hughes, while wearing the distinctive mask, chased and threatened at least six people in a roughly 15-minute spree near City Hall in Center City.
