Litecoin Breaks Above $60.61 as Activity Rises
Litecoin rose above its May swing high near $60.61, shifting its weekly chart structure toward a bullish pattern as network and derivatives activity increased. The breakout drew attention to the cryptocurrency while Bitcoin and several other major assets were under pressure, but available data does not establish a single cause for the rally or show whether the move will hold. By September 24, Litecoin had traded above $70 in some market snapshots, after recovering past $60 and breaking through resistance around $64 to $65. Reports published at different times cited different prices and gains, reflecting separate observation windows. One September 25 analysis said Litecoin was up 29.2% over the week and 6.04% in the preceding 24 hours. A September 24 report put the weekly gain at 34.7%. These figures are not directly comparable as simultaneous readings. The move above $60.61, a swing high set in May, was the central technical development. Weekly indicators also showed a shift: the Awesome Oscillator moved above zero for the first time on that timeframe since October 2025, and the Directional Movement Index indicated a strong trend.
