LEGO and Toei Announce First Dragon Ball Set

LEGO and Toei Animation have announced the first official LEGO set based on Dragon Ball: set 11390, a 1,764-piece display model featuring Shenron, all seven Dragon Balls and a Kid Goku minifigure. LEGO lists the U.S. price at $179.99 and says more Dragon Ball sets are coming in 2027, though it has not identified those models. The set depicts Shenron rising above the Dragon Balls, with Kid Goku riding Kintoun, also known as the Flying Nimbus in English-language versions of the series. LEGO says the model is based on the original Dragon Ball series, not Dragon Ball Z. Its announcement describes a display build rather than a recreation of a particular battle or location. The dragon’s head and claws can be repositioned, and the Kid Goku figure and Kintoun can be detached from the display, according to the product details. The assembled model measures more than 12.5 inches tall, 9.5 inches long and 10 inches wide. The set is marked for ages 18 and older. LEGO has not announced a release date that can be reconciled across the available information.
