Keenan Allen Faces Two Misdemeanor Charges After DUI Arrest

Keenan Allen, a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, has been formally charged with two misdemeanors following his arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in downtown Indianapolis on August 30, 2026. The charges, filed on September 16, include operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.15 or more, according to court records. Allen, 34, was arrested in the early morning of August 30 after Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers observed his vehicle parked in a no-parking zone on South Meridian Street. Officers noted signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glossy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. A portable breath test administered at the scene registered a blood alcohol concentration of 0.224, nearly three times the Indiana legal limit of 0.08. The formal charges were announced on September 16. Allen waived his initial court hearing, which had been scheduled for September 17, and posted a $500 cash bond. An attorney conference is now set for October 26, 2026, one day after the Colts' Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
