Katie Price pleads with terminally ill mother to stay
Katie Price has made an emotional public plea to her terminally ill mother, Amy Price, asking her to "find the strength to stay" as she battles a chronic lung condition. The 48-year-old television personality shared the heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Mum, please don't leave me please find the strength to stay with me longer on this earth." The post comes days after Price confirmed on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that her 74-year-old mother was "very poorly" and hospitalized. Amy Price has been living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a terminal condition that causes irreversible scarring of the lungs, since her diagnosis in 2017. Doctors initially gave her a life expectancy of three to five years. In her Instagram message, Katie Price described her mother as her "EVERYTHING" and a "warrior," stating, "I can't lose you, not now not EVER." She also shared a video clip of her mother from her recent documentary, captioning it with a tribute to the woman who has guided her through life. Amy Price's health has been a source of ongoing concern for the family.
