JBL Launches Cove WiFi Speakers for Multiroom Audio

JBL has launched its new Cove series, a line of three WiFi-enabled home speakers designed to simplify multiroom audio and challenge established competitors like Sonos. Unveiled in late August 2026 at a loft in NoHo, Manhattan, the system comprises the compact M1, the portable P1, and the flagship X1, all aimed at delivering high-quality sound with minimal setup friction. The core promise of the Cove line is ease of use. JBL states that the speakers can be set up in three steps within three to five minutes using the JBL One app.
